Dilip Kumar Yadav was elected unopposed chief

Relatives say that Dilip was going towards the market for some work on Friday. Meanwhile, he was shot dead near Tilkoda Canal. He had won unopposed.

By-elections were also held for 10 such posts where the chief was murdered. Now after the 11th murder, by-elections will have to be conducted again.
